The community and MCMA

Local elderly residents from the surrounding community and care homes were invited to our annual "Pensioners' Party" on 19th December 2017.

They enjoyed hot soup and sandwiches as well as other festive treats whilst enjoying being entertained by our school choir and playing a game of bingo!

Each resident left with a gift and raffle prizes for those that were lucky enough to win!

The care homes contacted us to say how much the residents had enjoyed their afternoon at MCMA.

Christmas 2017 saw donations of food and gifts from staff, students, parents/carers and members of our local community who kindly contributed to the Wood Street Mission Christmas Appeal and food donations for The Chatterbox Project.

This enabled less fortunate children and families to enjoy the festive season when they struggle to make ends meet.

We are proud to be able to contribute to such worthwhile causes.
