Welcome to the Design & Technology department where your child will study GCSE Design Technology (Textiles specialism).   VCERT craft is a course that consist of 2 units . Students will produce a portfolio of evidence.  This qualification is designed for learners with an interest in craft such as wood crafts, textiles and garment making.

1 Non-Assessment Exam TASK = 50%
1 Written examination (2 hour) worth 50% of course

Design practical activities, Visit to the clothes show live, art galleries.

Students enjoy the practical element of this course and make a huge range of original products. Students really enjoy the creative and practical element of this course and love making their own designs.
