PA to the Principal

Grade 5

TTO + 15 Days

Manchester Creative & Media Academy, part of the Co-operative Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed individual to the role of PA to the Principal.

The PA will provide a high level personal support service to the Principal to meet the complex, varied and changing organisational, business and administrative needs of the Academy. The post holder will ensure organisation effectiveness and efficiency by performing all necessary tasks requested by the Principal. This will involve the undertaking of a full range of secretarial and administrative duties for the Principal, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the Principal’s office and daily business.

To be successful in this role you will need to be well organised, confident and work well as part of a team.  Previous experience in a similar role will be useful but not essential.  However, flexibility, resilience, good numeracy and literacy skills and excellent communications skills will be key.    

All appointments are conditional subject to an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service), medical clearance and two satisfactory references.

Isolation Manager

Salary:                             Grade 6

Working Pattern:            35 hours per week, term time + 5 days

Manchester Creative & Media Academy, part of the Co-operative Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed individual to the role of Isolation Manager.

The Isolation Manager will provide high quality specialist support to assist the school in implementing its’ high standards of education and care for the students working in our Isolation area.   This involves ensuring that there is an orderly, safe and structured learning environment for those pupils excluded from, or otherwise not working to, a mainstream timetable.  The candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to challenge and motivate students.

Teaching Assistant

You will be part of a team responsible for providing support in addressing the needs of our students who require help to overcome barriers to learning. Reporting to the SENDCO, you will also work closely with classroom teachers to facilitate learning.

To be successful in this role you will need to be well organised, confident and work well as part of a team.  Previous experience in a similar role or classroom experience will be useful but not essential.  However, flexibility, resilience, good numeracy and literacy skills and excellent communications skills will be key.
